(Contest) Lonely Boredom

So I drew my OC Hanaiko at York Shin City auction's pre-party. She's by herself since, well, Gon and Killua aren't with her for some reason, and she's bored because of that. DO note that Hana is from my fanfiction, which is written a few years after the Chimera Ants; this means she is 14 (soon turning 15), and Gon/Killua are 15.
I know pink dresses can be really girly/overdone, but I love pink so YAY FOR PINK! *shot* No but really, there are only a few colors that suit Hanaiko... Pink, pastel green, mauve, light blue... Basically, she only wears fresh and light colors. Of course it's not a rule so she can obviously wear dark clothes, but they're not her favorite.
Hana is often bored and overthinking about tons of stuff. She doesn't mind showing she's bored to anyone actually, even if that makes her look rude. She's holding the invitation to the auction... she wasn't invited personally, but her mother was, since she's a hunter. And since you can bring five people with you when you're invited/have a ticket, she brought Hana along.

Summary:
Two years later, their determination to find Ging Freeccs led them back to York Shin City. All hell breaks loose when a mysterious assassin leads a ruthless vendetta against the Mafia. Desperate to get closer to their goal, Gon and Killua agree to help a hunter assigned on this case, along with her daughter, Hanaiko. Except, they have no idea how messed up it would get. So anyway, I had fun drawing Hana :'D I mean, it's rare to find contests that make you draw YOUR characters <33 I hadn't drawn a full-body of that arrogant OC of mine since long, so I loved drawing this xD
I wasn't really inspired by anything when drawing the dress, I just wanted something that wasn't too long. Hana likes showing off her legs *shot*. But then I thought it would be cute if there was a longer part, and then I added the little chains and crosses because... because. I felt like it. HA.
As for the background... I can't say much about it, except that I was hooked on its sketch for a few hours... I hadn't drawn a full background since long so I was like hypnotized, concentrated on paralell lines, perspective and such.

Do note that I epicly failed.
But I had fun and that's the most important. It's the first time I draw the moon and such too. I also felt like something warm/reddish would suit the Southern Peace Auction, since red is pretty elegant.

Oh and, those objects in the main furniture are some collector objects/items showed off to mobsters in the party (hence the little paper in front of them explaining what they are and their cost). I mean, it's HxH so I thought it would be nice to add something like that. See that weird cup-shaped vase? My mom stared at it for a moment, then she asked me, "Are those toilets?" and I just couldn't stop laughing. Gosh how I love my mom.
